Mr. Sheikh Habir Hossain born in SHEIKH family of Tungipara, Gopalgonj. His father Late Shiekh Mosharraf Hossain was a Member of the Legislative Assembly.M. A. from Dhaka University. Served Government office, Bank, Corporation & resigned from service in the year 1982 and started business. Presently he is the Chairman of Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB), Regent-Board Member of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), Chairman of Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL), Chairman of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited, Sonarbangla Capital Management Ltd. (Merchant Bank), Health and Education for the Local Under Privileged People (HELP); Managing Director, Kabico Limited and Managing Partner of a Chinese Restaurant.
Mr. Al-Haj Md. Ruhul Amin is the Vice-Chairman of Sonar Bangla Capital Management Limited, Director of Sonar Bangla Insurance Company Limited and Chairman and Managing Director of Comfort Group of Industries. A graduate in Economics under Dhaka University in 1977, he is a renowned businessman who maintains high reputation in the society. Mr. Mahfuzur Rahman, son of late Md. Mustafuzur Rahman (Former Member of Parliament and eminent Banker) was born I a very respectable Muslim Family of Sandwip, Chittagong in 1970. He obtained M.Com (Marketing) degree from Dhaka University. Mr. Mahfuzur Rahman is the Director of Sonar Bangla Capital Management Limited, he also associated with Rupali Life Insurance Company Limited as one of the founder Directors since its inception and at present he is the Chairman of the Company. He is also a renowned journalist. His business firms include Rupkatha Advertising (Pvt.) Ltd, Naz color process and print Ltd, Communication Express and Smart Express. Mr. Mahfuzur Rahman has also associated himself with many social organizations. He is the founder Chariman of Dwipbandhu Mustafizur Rahman Welfare Trust, Chief Patron of Sandwop Young Association.
